The 2012 Venturefest Yorkshire event will take on February 8th 2012 at York Racecourse. It will involve:

Breakfast Networking event & other Innovative Networking sessions
An Investment Competition in which a minimum of 6 pre-selected participants from science, technology or innovative businesses will pitch to not only seek investment but also win a support prize worth in the region of £29,000
An Innovation Showcase where we select more than 30 of the best science, technology or innovative businesses companies in the region to exhibit and promote their new ideas
A keynote from best selling author and entrepreneur Nigel Botterill as well as Mike Southon, The Beer Mat Entrepreneur
Other seminars and the "Entrepreneurs Survey Debate" all designed to educate and inspire both the entrepreneurs of today and in the future
A dinner and awards ceremony
Opportunities for young people to showcase their enterprising potential
A large exhibition where delegates can network with suppliers and select new partners for future advice and make procurement decisions
