The owner or senior decision maker should attend.  At the meeting attendees are not permitted to sell their own services.  Whilst networking opportunities will arise, the objective of the meeting is to exchange information, advice or contacts, NOT to get business from the other people that are attending.  It could be that synergies or potential business partnerships are identified.  These can be explored more fully once the formal part of the meeting comes to a close.
