The 6th Venturefest Yorkshire Investment Competition took place at Venturefest Yorkshire on 11th February 2009. The competition, which was chaired by BBC Radio 4 Business Correspondent Peter Day, was designed to help increase the profile of some of Yorkshire's hottest business prospects.
Musicode are the winners of the competition and will receive significant exposure as a result of winning. They have also received an array of prizes worth £26500 Prizes are confirmed as:

£750 of Intellectual Property Advice from Harrison Goddard Foote
£7000 of Corporate Fund Raising Advice from Garbutt and Elliott
£3000 of Accountancy Services from Finance Mix / Atkinsons
£1500 of Training Services from Ripley Training
Previous winners of the competition such as Food Specifications.com have gone on to receive investment worth many thousands of pounds.
Applications to enter the competition are now closed. Details of the 2010 competition are expected to be announced in September 2009.
